PREVENTIVE HEALTH CONFERENCE – ACCELERATING COOPERATION TO STOP OVERWEIGHT AND OBESITY

The Institute for Preventive Health (i4PH) would like to invite you to the conference ‘Accelerating cooperation to stop overweight and obesity’ on 23 November 2022.

It’s is one of the world’s major public health problems: the obesity pandemic. We can only stop it by working on prevention in several places at the same time: at school, at work, in the neighbourhood and in health care. Therefore we, experts from different disciplines need to work together. But what are the most effective solutions we should be working on? And how to find the right partners and funding for such projects? Let’s find the answers together at this conference!

• School: Improving lifestyle behaviour at schools
• Work: The work environment of the future: what is the dot on the horizon?
• Neighbourhoods: Co-shaping future cities: towards a healthy environment
• Health care: Stimulating sustainable behaviour change for a healthy lifestyle

12.00-13:00 Lunch and networking

13:00-14.45 Pitches – Eight groups will work out a project proposal and pitch their idea for a group of assessors. i4PH will reward the groups with the best ideas with seed funding.
